I never felt unsafe going here, and I was always able to find some great professors, but overall the school was one you go to out of necessity and not because you want to. It is great for the price, so if that's an issue this is one of the best places you can go, but it isn't a great place socially. There is hardly a student life.

its an alright school. nothing special. basically like high school without all the drama i guess. some faculty are amazing, most are pretty bad. socially, nova doesn't have much to offer in terms of clubs or such (little involvement). if you're just looking to get your associate's and move on to a better school, then you should be fine here.

One con I can think of is certain campuses are more dominant certain fields. Ex. Woodbridge is known for the medical program and Annandale is has languages. If you live fair from the campus, you'll just have to figure out a solution. Would recommend if you're looking for a quick degree or to transfer to a four-year college afterwards.

I have only attended Loudoun campus but it is pretty swag :) The food is pretty bad but the campus is really nice and the clubs are very fun and diverse! As long as you read reviews of professors before taking their classes you'll be fine.

Definitely a community college, there are opportunities, great ones too, but go out of your way for them which is something you should do. Developing a social life here is a bit hard, unless you have a class that promotes it, its not really easy making friends without running up to someone random. A little hard to find clubs, go to the club fair

My experience at NOVA has been good and bad. There should be a rating for the education instead of just clubs and social opportunities. Through using this website, I've been taught by phenomenal professors for a much better price than going straight to a four-year. The people are not the friendliest, but it's affordable and extremely beneficial.

Great community college, teachers really care, class sizes are good, class content is great, tuition is cheap, great for connecting, great transfer options, not much food,it is not to social its a commuter school, overall a great option if you want to save money and be able to actually work with your teachers

It's a great school with many good professors, and the Manassas campus I attend is pretty good and looks nice. There are limited food options on campus with only a small snack store and a Starbucks however it's not far from restaurants and other places to get food just down the street.
